Bugle Editor
Hi everyone. When we moved to Riverview in 2003, I started up the
Osborne South Bugle, an email newsletter that now goes to
approximately 300 homes in the Riverview area.
The Bugle is published and supported by the Riverview Community
Centre. We have had a lot of very positive feedback about the Bugle
over the years and are glad that it has become a regular part of being
a Riverview resident. Now that the Community Centre has a General
Manager, Andrew Skogen, I am turning over the Bugle duties to Andrew.
Andrew is a more convenient central contact person for the community
and hopefully all of you will find an occasion to meet Andrew over the
next few months. Further, Andrew will actually have more accurate and
more up-to-date information about RVCC goings on than I do, and will
have more time to devote to issuing Bugles in a timely manner than I
have.
It has been a pleasure for me to be able to serve the community
through the Bugles and I am very glad that the Bugles will continue.
The Bugles will continue to follow the same rules:
·
We never let anyone have access to the email list for any reason.
·
No spam or commercial advertising (except a discrete logo of one
sponsor who pays the costs of the Bugle).
·
No attachments.
·
You are welcome to submit buy and sell type ads and announcements of
events that have a strong neighbourhood connection of some kind (the
neighbourhood connection does not need to relate to the Community
Centre).
·
You must submit via email the actual text you want to appeal. Please,
no formatting and no submissions by attachment.
For all of your Bugle submissions, please forward them to
Andrew@riverviewcc.ca
.
This may be my “last post”,
