Adult Outdoor Soccer for Fun!

A group of Riverview residents is forming a Spring & Fall outdoor soccer league for adults.  The focus is fun and camaraderie.  No experience necessary, the only prerequisite is minimum age requirements: 32 for female players and 35 for male players 35.

We have enough players for two teams already, but we'd like to have enough players for four teams.  Fees are modest.  Players from other areas welcome too.

"Looking for a Nanny/Babysitter to look after our 16 month old daughter part time.  Needed for about 20 hours per week.  My wife and I both work in the area, the nanny would need to look after the baby at our home.  The ideal person would be a college age lady who loves kids and creating a loving, supportive environment of fun and learning.

Please call Brandan at 219-8357 if interested."

RVCC NEEDS YOU!

Volunteers needed for Annual Fund Drive

Do you have an hour or two to give to our community centre? We need volunteers to canvass about 25 homes each in the neighbourhood to accept donations for the Riverview Community Centre’s Annual Fund Drive. Our club is definitely the heart of Riverview and the annual fund drive helps ensure that the sports programs, family events and community activities can continue.

You will have April and May to complete your route. It really only takes a couple of hours, and provides essential funding for our club. 100% of each donation stays right here in our neighbourhood, directly benefiting our community.

If you’ve canvassed for RVCC in the past, let us know if you’re able to help out again. If you haven’t, please consider taking on a route: share it with your spouse or a friend. Take your kids for a spring walk around the block and say “howdy” to your neighbours. Your club needs you!!
