Archery
More Archery dates at the Club. May 11 and May 25 and June 8 from 1
to 3. Come and try your hand at archery. Just drop in. Open to kids
and adults. Instructor present and supervising. Free for all.
Community Garage Sale
The Annual Riverview Neighbourhood Garage Sale will be held on
Saturday, June 7th from
9:00 am
until
2:00 pm,
rain or shine! This is a great opportunity to benefit from coming
together as a neighbourhood - not only to pass your gently loved
household items to new homes, but to welcome guests from other
neighbourhoods!
For a $10 pre-registered donation to RVCC, you will receive: the
option to bring and sell your stuff from a table at the club (maximum
20 tables, first come, first serve) and we will donate any unsold,
unwanted items after the sale or, the option of selling from your own
yard (front or back, your option)
You will receive a "Garage Sale" sign for your front yard. Note that
advertising will encourage visitors to park on front streets and walk
- the back lane congestion last year was brutal!
Group advertising in the Winnipeg Free Press, Winnipeg Sun, The Lance,
posters at local neighbourhood businesses, boulevard signs, online and
radio
and TV public service announcements
Your home address included on the listing of sales being held
(optional, and would only be your address, no other personal
information!)
Pre-registration would be greatly appreciated. Please just send
an email to Angela at
ahilland@mts.net and include your name and street address.
Alternatively, you can simply donate your items to the club and we
will sell them. Net proceeds will be directed toward supporting summer
activity programming at the community centre. Feel free to drop off
any sellable items at any time and we will store until June 7th and
sell them from an RVCC table.

April and May is RVCC's Spring Fund Drive. If you miss your
canvasser, please mail your donation to RVCC at

pm.
