Spring Carnival this Friday, May 25
We
hope to see everyone in the neighbourhood come to the annual Riverview
Community Centre Spring Carnival, this Friday evening, from 5:00 to
midnight. There will be live music, beer gardens, games for the kids, food
to eat. Come out and see your neighbours! Rain or shine! In case of rain,
we will be in the hall, and yes, activities for kids will also be
available.
We are asking that anyone who can attend in the afternoon before 5:00 to

Girls Got Game! soccer camps – right here in Riverview
Karli
Colpitts and Andrea Bogar are running a 3 week summer soccer camp at the
Riverview Community Centre called Girls Got Game! for girls ages 6-12.
Girls Got Game! provides young girls with an oppourtunity to be active and
develop their soccer skills in an empowering, positive and fun
environment. The camps are running from July 3rd- July 20th. For more

Non-essential pesticide reduction
Notice of Public Meetings: Councillor Jenny Gerbasi and Councillor Mike
Pagtakhan, of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Non-Essential Pesticide Reduction,
invite individuals and organizations to present their perspectives on the
use of non-essential lawn and garden chemicals. Public meetings will be
held on the following dates:

Wednesday, May 30th (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Osborne South Bugle
The purpose of the newsletter is to communicate activities, events, news
and issues of interest to residents in the Osborne South area. Anyone can
ask to have their name added to the list or removed from the list at any
time. The only use that is allowed of the list of email addresses is for
sending out messages through the newsletter. The Osborne South Bugle is
paid for and operated by the Riverview Community Centre. The newsletter
