Family Skating Rink

Saturday December 13 - 2:00 p.m. - come and join us as we put the finishing touches and lights on our brand new family skating rink, right after Breakfast with Santa!

Our ice volunteers have been working hard to create a special place just for pleasure skating, with snow borders which will be better for smaller kids learning to skate (and rusty adults).  However, 3 full rinks means we need more volunteers to keep them in top condition.  If you are willing to give an hour or two once or twice a month, please join us for this event.

If you can't make it, but support family skating and you are able to help out from time to time, please contact Carla at 452-9944, and she will put you in touch with the other volunteers on this team so you can learn all about ice making from our local pros!  Riverview has a reputation for having the best outdoor ice in
Winnipeg - here's your chance to contribute to our legacy!

Reflector Deadline for Content

Next deadline is December 17, 2008.  Everyone from the community is welcome and encouraged to submit poetry, articles and other pieces that might be of interest to our community.  Space permitting, you could see your article in print in a future edition of the reflector.  We still have a few spaces for advertising as well - email your submissions to the Reflector Editor, Rob, at riverviewreflector@riverviewcc.ca.

Babysitters Listing

Calling all kids 12 and over.  Interested in babysitting?  Send your name and phone number to Carla at gm@riverviewcc.ca before December 17 and we'll include you in the list of babysitters listed in the Reflector.  Let us know if you've had the babysitting course.
