Family Skating Rink - Trees Needed
Our ice volunteers have been working hard to create a
special place just for pleasure skating, with snow
borders, a fire pit, and hopefully a windbreak - this is
where you come in! Bring us your Christmas tree when
it's time to take it down and we will plant it around
our pleasure rink until spring! We also need more
volunteers to maintain this area - If you support family
skating and you are willing to give an hour or two once
or twice a month, please contact Carla at 452-9944, and
she will put you in touch with the other volunteers on
this team so you can learn all about ice making from our
local pros! Riverview has a reputation for having the
best outdoor ice in
Winnipeg
- here's your chance to contribute to our legacy! |

Calling all Kids! Peter Pan comes to the Park Theatre
in March!
There are still openings for pirates, mermaids, Nana, a
crocodile, and more!
Director Kathleen Henry has over 15 years of experience
working in children's theatre and dance. Kathleen is
currently working for Manitoba Theatre For Young People
and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Some Saturday rehearsals
are scheduled at the community center and most other
rehearsals are on Mondays after school at the Park
Theatre.
There is a rehearsal and performance fee to cover costs,
and parents are expected to volunteer in one area such
as set building, usher or backstage Mum. If you are
interested, please call 774-8573. |
