Riverview Hockey Tournament
This Weekend At RVCC
The Riverview 7/8 House League, 9A2 and 10A2 hockey teams
will be hosting an outdoor tournament of hockey, fun and
community.
Please come out and enjoy the winter by watching children
from the neighbourhood play the great game of hockey!! Grab
a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and cheer on the players!
Volunteers will be working hard all weekend at the grill,
including Friday night chili and Saturday home-made perogies!
Great silent auction prizes, including a Wii! Please stop by
and support local hockey! |

The public is invited to visit a public open house
regarding the City of Winnipeg's 2010 Active
Transportation Program:

This session is an opportunity to view information on
the proposed plans for new Active Transporation
facilities in the River Heights/Fort Rouge, Bison Drive,
Wilkes,Waverley and Seel areas, and to share your ideas
on Active transportation facilities for
Jubilee
and Hay. |

Volunteer Opportunities Available
Please contact the club if you have 1 or 2 hours
per month (or more often if you like!) to do the
following:

Supervise the basement while kids play rock band

Act as an adult presence in the lounge area

Run a craft activity for children

Help our ice-man flood a rink

Pottery Painting at Riverview CC.
Tuesday evenings @ 7:00pm
Imagine the fun you'll have transforming ready-to-paint
pottery pieces into brilliant works-of-art!
Gather your friends and join us to create functional
serving pieces, unique gifts and precious keepsakes.
Your pieces will be glazed and kiln-fired.
All ages, both children and adults are welcome to
attend.

Tiles $5.00 or $10.00
Feb 16th - Soup's On! 3 Styles of soup
bowls $20.00
Feb 23rd - Frig Magnets, Set of
three $10.00
All prices are per pottery piece and include
registration, taxes, supplies and kiln firing.
Pieces will be available one week after painting.

make these at Riverview CC.

The purpose of the newsletter is to communicate activities,
events, news and issues of interest to residents in the Osborne
South area. Anyone can ask to have their name added to the list
or removed from the list at any time. The only use that is
allowed of the list of email addresses is for sending out
messages through the newsletter. The Osborne South Bugle is paid
for and operated by the Riverview Community Centre. The
