Riverview Community Centre Garage Sale
June 13th
9am to 4pm
Kids: Have your own mini-sale at the centre!
Tables are only $5.00 for kids!
Contact RVCC for details!
Do you have an item to sell that's too big to bring to the
centre? Submit your notice for our Buy and Sell notice
board, which will be on display at the front entrance!
Wow, what a lot of stuff! The RVCC is filling up with all
kinds of treasures, thanks to the generous donations of our
Riverview residents. You can't find these things in any
mall! If you have items to donate, you can bring them to
RVCC as late as Thursday, but we would prefer to receive
them as soon as possible. Please, no encyclopedias,
magazines, jars or mildew books, but everything else in
useable condition is welcome.
Thursday and Friday evenings, June 11 and 12, from 7pm
to
9pm
we are looking for a few people to help set up tables and
carry boxes and goods. We also need a few people to price
glassware, ceramics, clothing, household goods, and
electronics. You don't need to be an expert on pricing, and
price stickers are provided.
Saturday June 13 we need people to assist shoppers in three
shifts from
8:30am
to
11am,
from
11am
to
1:30pm,
and from
1:30pm
to
4pm.
From
3:30
to
5:30pm
we need a few people to pack up the unsold goods and a few
people to lift boxes and take down tables. At
4:30pm
for 1½ hours, we need a few people with vans or trucks to
haul things away.
If you can help with any of these tasks, or if you are
holding a garage sale that day on your own property, please
call Steve Lennon 781-6549 (Garage Sale Coordinator).
I should also mention, don't forget to bring your piggy bank
to the event so you can shop for fabulous bargains galore.
Refreshments, including hot dogs, will be available for sale
at the concession. |
