It is time for our Grand Opening and here at Champa we
thought what better way to do it than make it a mix and
mingle samlping extravaganza.
We will have 8 different items from the menu. Come in and
try our signature Teriyaki Beef Taco, 3C Wontons, New Garden
Balls or Some Sweet Soy Pepper Thin Ribs, but wait there's
more. We will be serving Fresh Summer Rolls, Lao Bartwurst,
Green and Beef Matsaman Curries, so make sure you come
hungry, because its all about the food and there will be
lots of it.
Lets not forget to mention the wines we will be sampling,
Yellow Tail Shiraz, La Joya Gewurzt, Greener Planet Shi/Mer/Cab,
Fairhills Chardonnay, and if wine is not your thing not to
worry we will have beers to sample as well as our famous
signature cocktail Red Lotus and martini Good Morning
Vietnam.
Food and Beverage Sampling will be from 7 until 11 then we
will have drink and menu specials from 11 until late in the
lounge, so come for a bit and eat or stay a while and help
us make it a party.

the rest.

Community Access Youth Intern -21 Week Term Position
The Riverview Community Club is looking to hire one
individual under the Community Access Program Youth
Intern program
(CAP-YI) to assist with our public access computers.
PROJECT/JOB
DESCRIPTION: Riverview C.C. is located
on
Ashland Ave,
close to
Churchill Drive.
RVCC is a CAP site, with several public access computer
terminals. We are looking for an energetic individual
to join our staff and offer a wide range of IT services
to the community.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be 16-30 years of age to qualify.
Experience working with computers/IT as well as the
general public is essential. Some post secondary
education is required. Education/experience in a
related field is desirable.
JOB LOCATION:
Riverview CC -

START DATE:
October 19, 2009
(To be negotiated)
FINISH DATE:
March 5, 2009
HOURS:
20 Hours per week, 21 week term. Hours to be
negotiated. This position will involve some evening and
weekend hours.
WAGE:
$12.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

The purpose of the newsletter is to communicate activities,
events, news and issues of interest to residents in the Osborne
South area. Anyone can ask to have their name added to the list
